Million Dollar Baby

Million Dollar Baby (GB) 2003 (Hernando – Miss Sancerre, by Last Tycoon) bay filly. She was bought at Tattersalls Yearling Sales in Newmarket for me and she raced only in Serbia in 2005 and 2006. As two year old she raced only 3 times and after just being sent to get to know track on her first start, she was a decisive winner on her second start. After that she was racing in our 2^nd most important 2 year old race (Serbian G2, "Antonije Karner Memorial" race) and she was placed 2^nd. All her starts as 2 y-o she had over 1600m. As 3 y-o, this season, she raced from 1600-2800m, and proved to be effective on all distances, after winning another 2 races and being placed in another 6 races (all her places this season were in Serbian G1, 2 and 3 races, incl. our Trial Stakes and St Leger) from 10 races. Unfortunately, she had bleeding problems and she couldn’t finish our Derby, and in other 2 starts when she was unplaced it was when she bled. If she could race under Lasix, she would win our Derby and Oaks, for sure. Otherwise, she is very healthy and could race another few years, even, she would prove much better in a years to come, but since she bled and situation in our country is not good at the moment, I decided that she visits Farqad in 2008. Her earnings in Serbia in 2005-2006-2007 were bit over 9600 Euros (7200 in 2006).
